phpTraffic is not designed for very high traffic websites, needing precise hourly statistics, but for those of us who manage average-traffic websites (a few hundreds page views per day) and want to see who is dropping by... Logging function is fast and size of database kept to a reasonable size by removing un-necessary information.
phpTrafficA is licenced under the GPL, so you can use it and ditribute it, for free, as long as the code and the modifications you make remains public. However, if you do improve the source code, or add new features, I'd be very happy to hear from you and include it in future releases...
